Physical Therapist
Per Diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA
Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and/or designated supervisor, the Physical Therapist provides diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic procedures under medical prescription for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients disabled by illness or injury. The goal is to optimize functional restoration and rehabilitation. Treatments may include massage, exercise, hypnotherapy, heat therapy, etc.
The hospital's tradition of caring began in 1965 with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. It merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992, forming Corona Regional Medical Center, a 238-bed community hospital network comprising a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The hospital is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.
Minimum Essential Experience: Two years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
Required Licensure / Certifications: Current California Physical Therapist License and BCLS (CPR) certification are required.
