Per Diem - Respiratory Therapist at Corona Regional Rehabilitation in Corona, Ca
Reporting to the Respiratory Care Practitioner Supervisor, this position provides respiratory therapy, including assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation (including ABG lab procedures, puncture, and analysis), and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members. Performs limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965 with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since then, the hospital has evolved to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992, forming Corona Regional Medical Center. The hospital network includes a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.
