Position: Respiratory Therapist Per Diem at Corona Regional Rehabilitation in Corona, CA
This position reports to the Respiratory Care Practitioner Supervisor and involves providing respiratory therapy, including assessment, treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation (including ABG lab procedures, puncture and analysis), and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. The role also includes providing consultation, instruction, and technical guidance to medical, nursing, and other staff members, as well as performing limited cardiology diagnostic procedures.
The tradition of caring at Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965 with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Over the years, the hospital has evolved to meet the needs of the growing community. It merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992, forming the current Corona Regional Medical Center, a 238-bed community hospital network with a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The facility is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare professionals, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.
