Motion PT Group is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic team at the Airmont clinic near New York. The role offers full-time hours (40/week), mentorship, and competitive pay with a sign-on bonus and student loan repayment opportunities.

You will provide evidence-based care for orthopedic, sports, post-surgical, and neurological caseloads, with AI-assisted documentation and strong physician partnerships, plus ongoing CEU support.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with ability to obtain in NY.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Experience with orthopedic outpatient setting including post-operative care and gait/balance.

Responsibilities

• Assess movement dysfunction and diagnose root causes via history and exam.
• Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care aligned to patient goals.
• Deliver interventions: therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, modalities.
• Track outcomes and adapt approach based on progress.
• Serve as patient advocate throughout recovery.

Responsibilities

• Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
• Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence‑based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads
• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, including exposure to post‑operative care, overuse injuries, gait and balance assessment, and sports‑related conditions. Licensed Physical Therapists with orthopedic outpatient experience and new graduates with relevant orthopedic clinical affiliation experience are encouraged to apply.
