Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population at our Macon campus.

The role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and utilizing modalities to restore function and relieve pain. You will work with pediatric through geriatric patients and may orient and guide assigned staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to a designated patient group to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Conduct PT evaluations, modalities, and treatments.
• Provide patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations; supervise or guide assigned staff or PT assistants.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
