Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the Columbus Northside location. You will provide therapy services to help patients achieve their highest level of physical independence and assist in the recovery process after injury or disease.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited program and hold a current Georgia Physical Therapist License. A commitment to patient care across all age groups and experience guiding staff are essential parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as mandated by the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Assist patients to achieve the highest level of physical independence.
• Responsible for care of patients treated by assistants.

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
