Job summary

Northside Hospital's Rehabilitation Team is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia. You will develop and administer physical therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients across neonate to geriatric populations, guided by clinical competency.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of evidence-based care and service excellence. A BS or higher in PT and GA licensure are required, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers physical therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients across age groups.
  • Provides patient and family education and communicates with medical staff to ensure quality care.
  • Maintains compassionate, patient-focused service and adheres to professional standards.

Develops and administers physical therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

REQUIRED

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  2. Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
  3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

  1. Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience
