Job summary

Spooner in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Therapist to join our physical therapy team. This role focuses on musculoskeletal care, manual therapy, and individualized exercise plans to restore movement and function.

You will work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative clinic environment. Eligible candidates hold a Graduate Degree with current PT or OT licensure and possess strong communication skills, patient-centered care philosophy, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Utilize dynamic and functional approaches to help patients overcome functional limitations.
• Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to improve movement and function.
• Take a whole-body approach to locate injury sources and develop treatment plans.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients to prevent future injuries.
• Support patients in achieving goals through documenting effects and adjusting treatment.
• Develop relationships with medical practitioners to coordinate patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions.
• Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their best.
• Take a whole‑body approach to locate the source of a patient's injury, pain, or dysfunction.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients to prevent any future injuries.
• Help patients of all ages and abilities move better and feel better.
• Evaluate and develop treatment goals with patients utilizing clinical observations and information provided by the patient.
• Support patients in achieving their goals through documenting treatment effects and adjusting treatment when necessary.
• Develop relationships with medical practitioners to support patient care.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to best ensure the best care is being provided to the patient throughout their experience.
