Spooner Avondale Clinic is seeking a dedicated therapist in Avondale, AZ. This full-time role focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, combining manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve patient function and quality of life.

You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to assess, treat, and educate patients, ensuring outstanding care and ongoing patient progress within Spooner's care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as physical or occupational therapist.
• Graduate degree required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions.
• Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their best
• Take a whole-body approach to locate the source of a patient's injury, pain, or dysfunction.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients to prevent any future injuries.
• Help patients of all ages and abilities move better and feel better.
• Evaluate and develop treatment goals with patients utilizing clinical observations and information provided by the patient.
• Support patients in achieving their goals through documenting treatment effects and adjusting treatment when necessary.
• Develop relationships with medical practitioners to support patient care.
• Collaborate with treatment team to best ensure the best care is being provided to the patient throughout their experience.
