Job summary

Spooner is seeking a therapist in Phoenix, AZ to join a movement-focused care team. You will apply manual therapy and exercise strategies to address musculoskeletal conditions, taking a whole-body approach to locate injury sources and educate patients.

You will participate in a year-long onboarding, mentorship, and continuing education opportunities while collaborating with therapists, athletic trainers, and physicians to deliver exceptional patient experiences and progressive career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree required.
• Current licensure as a physical or occupational therapist.

Responsibilities

• Be a core member of the treatment team and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Utilize a dynamic and functional approach to help patients overcome functional limitations related to musculoskeletal conditions.
• Combine manual therapy techniques and exercise strategies to help patients move and feel their best.
• Take a whole-body approach to locate the source of a patient’s injury, pain, or dysfunction.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients to prevent future injuries.
• Help patients of all ages and abilities move better and feel better.
• Evaluate and develop treatment goals with patients using clinical observations and information provided by the patient.
• Support patients in achieving their goals through documenting treatment effects and adjusting treatment when necessary.
• Develop relationships with medical practitioners to support patient care.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure the best care is provided throughout the patient experience.
