Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services in Michigan facilities. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with state practice acts.

You will supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs, expand the PT program, and collaborate with the clinical team to maintain best practices and patient outcomes while staying current with regulations and billing considerations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent communication in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during treatments, ensuring efficient resource use.
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations.
• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols.
