Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist for PRN and/or Fulltime roles in Michigan. This position welcomes new grads and emphasizes delivering high-quality therapy across a variety of care communities, with strong clinical support and development opportunities.

The therapist will screen and evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, discharge patients, supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development.
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations.
• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
