Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Physical Therapist II for inpatient care at Evanston Hospital. The role involves evaluating and treating physician-referred patients, developing treatment plans and maintaining detailed records in the EPIC EMR.

The position is full time with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus rotation into two weekend days per month and two holidays per year. A strong background in acute care and potential for student supervision are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in IL.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in acute care (ICU, CVA, Ortho, Neuro); new grads with strong fieldwork considered.
• Wound care/edema experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician-referred patients.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC EMR; include evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Participate in the clinical supervision of students.

Hourly Pay Range:

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Physical Therapist II - Inpatient
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• Rotation into 2 weekend days per month and 2 Holidays per year (2 summer and 2 winter)

What you will do:

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing in our EPIC EMR
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program of the Medical or American Physical Therapy Association or educational equivalent.
• Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of IL
• Certification: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association
• Experience: Current experience in acute care setting (ICU, CVA, Ortho, Neuro). Will consider a new graduate with strong fieldwork in acute care hospital setting
• Unique Experience: Wound Care/edema experience a plus
