Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Physical Therapist II for inpatient care at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time with schedule Monday–Friday and occasional weekend days, offering premium pay and growth opportunities.

You will evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians, document progress and participate in student supervision, contributing to high-quality care in a Magnet-recognized system.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois.
• Graduation from a PT program approved by the appropriate accrediting bodies.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in inpatient settings preferred.
• Inpatient skills and patient handling required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing.
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students.

Hourly Pay Range: $38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL
• Hours: Full-Time – 40 hours
• Schedule: M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; 2 - weekend days per month with comp day
• Holidays: Yes (2 summer and 2 winter)

What you will do:

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need:

• License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of IL
• Education: Graduation from a program in physical therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of The Medical Association or the American Physical Therapy Association or its educational equivalent, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association
• Certification: CPR certification required
