Beth Israel Lahey Health in Lexington seeks a Physical Therapist II who is autonomous in examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention and discharge planning for patients with functional impairments. This role includes supervising students, mentoring staff, and collaborating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctoral degree is preferred, with 1–3 years of related experience and an active PT license.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• License required: Physical Therapist License, Basic Life Support certification required.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate basic web-based applications.
• APTA membership preferred.

Mansioni

• Evaluate patients to determine appropriateness of referral, review medical history, perform examination, diagnose, prognosis and plan of care.
• Discuss findings and plan of care with patient; implement plan using therapeutic procedures and collaborate with other providers.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient status and modify plan of care and discharge plan as needed.
• Perform teaching responsibilities including educating patients and families, presenting in-services, and mentoring less experienced staff and students.
• Demonstrate initiative in teaching, quality assurance, performance improvement and research.
