Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Physical Therapist I to autonomously examine, evaluate, diagnose, treat and discharge patients with functional impairments. You will collaborate with families and the care team, implement plans, and adjust care as needed while managing a defined caseload and supervising support staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, licensure as a Physical Therapist, and Basic Life Support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist required; Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients to determine referral appropriateness, review medical history, perform exams, diagnose, plan care and discuss with patient and care team.
• Implement the plan of care using therapeutic procedures, equipment and teaching to achieve patient goals.
• Re-evaluate patient status and modify the plan of care as needed; update discharge plans.
• Manage a defined caseload and supervise staff, document billing, time sheets and QA activities.
• Provide teaching to patients and families, orient staff, and present in-services; supervise PT aides and students.
