Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Massachusetts physical therapy license required.
• Strong oral and written communication with patients and providers.
• Good organization and time management to manage patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates referred patients for age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms using tests and history.
• Develops treatment plans with patient/family and physician including goals and duration.
• Administers therapeutic techniques and monitors patient response, adjusting as needed.
• Coordinates care with physicians, staff, and other facilities; assists with discharge planning.
• Adapts communication to patient needs (hearing/vision/cognitive).
• Documents care accurately in medical records and for billing.
