The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care, mentorship opportunities for new grads, and involvement across orthopedic PT as well as occupational and speech services.

Qualifications

• Illinois licensure required to practice Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; master/doctorate preferred.
• Driver’s license required for offsite duties if applicable.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• For licensure: ATT/Exam process may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy services to patients.
• Demonstrates clinical skill through evaluations and development of treatment plans.
• Evaluates patient status and implements therapeutic programs to improve movement.
• Educates patients to engage them in their own care.
• Stays updated on PT developments, techniques, and equipment.
• Maintains knowledge base and clinical reasoning to achieve outcomes.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Illinois Physical Therapist licensure

Driver’s license

American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
