Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Physical Therapist II for Hogan Regional Center in Danvers to provide direct and indirect services addressing the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The incumbent will work within the Department of Developmental Services to support rehabilitation goals and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• One year of full-time professional physical therapy experience.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by MA Division of Licensure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and caregivers.
• Ability to maintain adequate records and prepare clinical reports.
• Ability to assemble information and coordinate with established procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects or persons.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates PT needs of individuals and develops goals and objectives.
• Conducts hands-on treatment and procures adaptive equipment as needed.
• Coordinates programs with other disciplines for continuum of care.
• Provides clinical supervision to PT Aides and Assistants.
• Attends rounds, meetings and coordinates post-care in home visits as needed.
• Performs patient tests, measurements and evaluations.
• Participates in staff training to improve rehab care standards.
