Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to support our client's facility in Silverdale, WA. This local contract role offers full-time coverage, with 32 hours guaranteed per week and a pay range of $65.00 to $72.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.

The incumbent will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and provide evidence-based treatment for various musculoskeletal and mobility-related conditions.

Qualifications

• Active State Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation, and Auto Insurance.
• Minimum 1-2 years of Physical Therapy experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, update, and evaluate individualized Plans of Care (POC) based on physician orders and patient goals.
• Provide treatment for orthopedic, neurological, neuromuscular, and mobility-related conditions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, transfer techniques, fall prevention, home safety, and use of assistive devices.
• Recommend and train patients on durable medical equipment, walkers, wheelchairs, braces, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and care plan updates.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Float / Coverage Area: Local travel required

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 14 Weeks (Potential for an extension)

Pay Range: $65.00 to $72.00/hour*
