Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our Nashville, TN location. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain records according to facility procedures.

You will supervise staff, contribute to program development and outreach, and ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines. The role offers professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• New or recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Current TN Physical Therapist license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations to assess physical status, ROM, strength, posture, ambulation, balance and ADLs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports according to facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, family members and staff.
• Supervise PTAs, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, ATs and students in direct/indirect care.
• Ensure supervised personnel carry out treatments as outlined in the PT evaluation.
• Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
• Adhere to state practice act regulations and APTA code of ethics.
