Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Tennessee to provide high-quality patient care across our growing network. You will evaluate patients, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve function and mobility.

You will supervise assistants and students, contribute to program development, and participate in outreach activities while adhering to licensure requirements and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• New or recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations assessing ROM, strength, balance, gait, and ADLs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports according to facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, family members, and staff.
• Supervise PT staff and students in direct and indirect patient care.
• Ensure supervised personnel carry out treatments as outlined in the PT evaluation.
• Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities for growth.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
• Adhere to state practice act regulations and the APTA code of ethics.
• Must have TN license and degree in Physical Therapy.
