Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess patients and create individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehab staff, ensuring care aligns with state practice acts and Mercy service standards.

Requirements include an active Physical Therapy license in the state, BLS certification, and preferred 6–12 months of rehab experience with adults and seniors. This position emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is required.
• Six months to one year experience in rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
