Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to lead objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients under therapy leadership. The role includes direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Qualifications

• Must hold current or temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required and must be current before independent patient care.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for rehabilitation therapy with adults/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy standards.
