Job summary

Big Stone Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Wheaton, MN. The role includes outpatient, home health, and inpatient settings with a 40-hour guarantee and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Starting pay is $2000 per week, with housing assistance, licensure navigation, and dedicated recruiter support. New grads encouraged to apply; CPR certification and active PT licensure required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Active state PT licensure (or currently in a PT program)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check on hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in outpatient, home health and inpatient preferred — new grads encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Aides in accordance with state/federal regulations
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and diagnose movement dysfunction
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
• Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands‑on techniques to support healing
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
• Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA

Position Overview

• Location: Wheaton, MN
• Setting: OP; HH; IP
• Pay Package: Starting at $2000/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
