Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team. Under the supervision of Therapy Leadership, you will perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will directly supervise patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state.
• BLS certification; all required certifications must be current prior to independent patient care.
• Preferred 6–12 months rehabilitation experience with adult and geriatric patients.

Shift: Days, Full-Time

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state.
• Certifications: BLS certification; all required certifications must be current prior to independent patient care.
• Preferred Experience: 6 months to 1 year in rehabilitation, with experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.
