Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and design individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants under general supervision, following Mercy Service Standards.

Weekend shift with a $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. Requirements include a Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy or DPT, and a current/temporary PT license in the practice state; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelors, Masters or DPT).
• Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required and current.

Responsabilités

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians; supervise PT assistants as per State Practice Act.
• Adhere to Mercy Service Standards and departmental policies.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus**

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
