Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, with PT assistants supervised per State Practice Act.

The position requires licensure in the state, BLS certification, and 6 months to 1 year of preferred experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/or temporary Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
• BLS certification current before caring for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Supervise patients directly and rehab technicians; oversee PT assistants per State Practice Act.

Shift: Weekend

**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus**

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
