Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehab technicians while aligning care with Mercy Service Standards.

Required education in Physical Therapy (BS/MS/PhD) and current PT licensure; BLS certification is mandatory. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 24-hour-per-week schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
