Job summary

Bon Secours in Petersburg, VA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing assessments and provide skilled interventions across outpatient, inpatient, pediatrics, and off-site locations.

You will evaluate, treat, document progress in the EMR, supervise aides when applicable, and maintain productivity without compromising quality. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT in the state of current practice or eligible for traineeship/temporary license.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification (required within 30 days for some sites).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops a treatment plan with goals.
• Provides direct therapy daily per plan of care and standards of practice.
• Maintains accurate records in EMR and co-signs for assistants when applicable.
• Maintains productivity while preserving care quality and efficiency.
• Upholds department policies on safety, infection control, and timekeeping.
• Supervises the Physical Therapist Assistant’s interventions.
