Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and provide skilled therapeutic interventions across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Role involves pediatric, adult, and geriatric care with opportunities to supervise assistants, maintain EMR documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or meet qualifications for traineeship or temporary license.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification is preferred upon hire and required within 30 days for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans with specific goals.
• Provides direct therapy to patients daily per the plan of care.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment and patient progress in the EMR; co-signs for supervised staff.
• Maintains productivity while delivering quality care.
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies and annual compliance requirements.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants when applicable.
