Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation in New Iberia, LA, seeks a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services to patients in care facilities. You will screen, evaluate, and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinate discharge planning, and supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs for efficient care delivery.

You will maintain licensure, stay abreast of regulations, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to a compliant, patient‑centered program with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist delivers high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations
• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
