Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver high‑quality therapy to patients in collaboration with facilities and the clinical team. The PT will develop and implement treatment plans, screen and evaluate patients, plan discharge, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

The role requires supervising PTAs and Rehab Techs, maintaining state licensure, and contributing to program growth and clinical leadership across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy.
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development.
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self‑study, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations.
• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
