Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a split-site, full-time role in Florence and Hebron, KY. You will work under a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality outpatient care to diverse patient populations, with a focus on restoring function and activity.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a student debt benefit, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Passing CAPTE exam completed or in process.
• Active state PTA license (or in process).
• CPR certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed PT supervision.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.
• Support outpatient orthopedic goals and patient progress.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Split

Location: 68 Cavalier blvd, Suite 1700, Florence, KY 41042 and 2010 North Bend RoadSuite 600 Hebron, KY 41048

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays (hours vary between 8am-6pm)

Compensation: Starting at $25.00, hourly, commensurate based on years on experience

Incentives: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, Student Debt Benefit ($200 monthly tuition assistance)

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
