Job summary

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Civita Care Center West River in Milford, CT. In this full-time role you will provide hands-on therapy under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve movement and independence.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $33–$36, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO and holiday pay, continuing education support, and a collaborative rehab team focused on resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and therapy goals
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center West River. Work alongside experienced clinicians while providing hands‑on therapy that helps residents improve movement, build strength, and regain greater independence.
