Job summary

Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehab Team, expanding our PRN staff pool. FT, PT and PRN shifts are available, offering diverse scheduling options.

You will implement patient treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, collaborate with the rehab team, and help residents achieve quality care in a 123-bed facility. A PA PTA license and approved program graduate are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement programs suited to each patient’s needs.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in therapy techniques under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Performs other duties as assigned to provide quality care to residents.
