Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for inpatient rehabilitation on a PRN basis at Liberty Township. The PTA will collaborate with licensed therapists to implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress and adjust goals as needed in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, clear communication with supervising therapists, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program
• BLS certification must be maintained

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain mobility/function
• Implement treatment plans developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust as needed
• Regularly communicate patient progress and goal revisions to the physical therapist
• Document services provided and patient response/progress

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

• Provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio. Additional requirements include:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
