Job summary

Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for inpatient rehabilitation on a PRN basis. You will work under a supervising therapist to help patients develop, recover and maintain mobility and function.

Applicants must hold an Ohio PTA license, graduate from an accredited PTA program, and have BLS certification. The role emphasizes patient progress documentation, communication with the supervising therapist, and delivering

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
• Communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.

Education
