Job summary

Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for inpatient rehabilitation on a PRN basis. The PTA will provide physical therapy services to patients, assist in implementing treatment plans, and monitor progress under supervision.

Qualified candidates graduate from an accredited PTA program with a BLS certification and hold a current PTA license. The hospital highlights comprehensive benefits, PTO, and professional development opportunities for staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio (as stated).

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.

What we're looking for
