Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Round Rock, TX. The role involves treating patients under the supervision of a licensed PT, recording treatments, and participating in care conferences and team meetings.

We offer competitive pay starting at $33/hour for full-time positions, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus, 401k with match, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and free CEUs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staff.
• Capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules
