Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation in Crestview-Cedar Hill, TX, is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Compensation starts at $33/hour, plus a benefits package including 401k with match, medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement and free CEUs.

You will treat patients under the PT, record treatments, participate in care conferences, and communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
