Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Round Rock facility. You will assist the supervising physical therapist, document treatments, and participate in care conferences to support patient progress.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited PTA program, holds an active PTA license, and communicates effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in practicing state.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, families and staff.
• Able to work under supervision of a physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist and rehab team regarding progress and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedure and state rules.

Qualifications: Essential Functions:

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license in practicing state
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients' family members, and staff
