Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in Flower Mound, Texas. You will support licensed physical therapists in delivering care to patients, document treatments, and participate in care conferences to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program, holds a current state license, and demonstrates strong communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license to practice in the state.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments in the medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding progress and plans.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state PT rules.

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license in practicing state
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
