Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed therapists in delivering patient care. You will document treatments, participate in care conferences, and collaborate with the rehab team to adjust plans based on progress.

The ideal candidate is a PTA with an accredited program, a current license, and strong communication skills to engage patients and families effectively.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and staff.
• Capable of performing essential job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical records.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and interdisciplinary team about progress and plans.
• Records daily treatments in accordance with procedures and state PT rules.
