Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delaware is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role. A $7,500 retention bonus is available to eligible candidates, and the position offers competitive wages, daily pay options, PTO, and comprehensive insurance plans.

Formación

• Active PT assistant license/registration for state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Reliability, self-motivation and teamwork required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care and assess medical condition, functional status and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals per patient capacity under physician direction.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver best patient-centered care.

Skills of PTAs

All qualified applicants should possess the following qualities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients' condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
