Job summary

Berkshire Rehab in Sandisfield, MA is seeking part-time and per diem Physical Therapist Assistants to join our team. The facility offers a 57-bed, all-male rehab environment with a veteran population; weekly pay up to $40 per hour.

You will support the Physical Therapist with data collection, direct treatments, and participation in program development for a general rehab caseload, under supervision and according to established plans of care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts PTA license is required.
• CEU's per state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments under a physician's order and established plan of care.
• May perform additional administrative duties as assigned by Rehab Program Manager.
• Contribute to team meetings and participate in decision-making processes.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document activities in the clinical documentation system in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Berkshire Rehab, an award-winning facility, is looking for part-time and per diem PTAs to join our team in Sandisfield! 24 hours a week.

We are a 57-bed, all-male skilled nursing home with a large veteran population. Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.

As a PTA, you assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist, and participate in clinical program development.

Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

Duties & Responsibilities

• May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager.

• Under a physician's order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care.Treatment venues include individual, supervised, and group.

• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.

• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers.

• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.

• Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.

• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

• Participates in clinical program development and implementation.
