Job summary

Willow Terrace in Philadelphia, PA, is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled therapy and support residents in regaining strength and mobility in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation environment.

Ideal candidates are licensed PTAs with SNF or long-term care exposure; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Pennsylvania.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • SNF or Long-Term Care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled PTA treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatments for short- and long-term residents.
  • Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
  • Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
  • Educate residents and families on exercises and fall prevention.
  • Complete accurate documentation using Net Health.
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations.

Willow Terrace is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals dedicated to helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents.
  • Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, gait, and overall functional independence.
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with Net Health is a plus.
  • Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
