Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services in Magnolia-Groves, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed physical therapists in delivering care. The PTA will treat patients, document treatments, and participate in care conferences, while coordinating with the rehab team to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited PTA program, holds current Texas licensure, and demonstrates strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
