Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation Services in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. You will treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and document treatments in the medical record, while participating in weekly rehabilitation meetings.

The ideal candidate graduates from an accredited PTA program with a current license and strong communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients under the supervision of the physical therapist.
• Records treatments in the medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and plans.
