Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Texas. The role supports the supervising PT, carries out treatments, and documents progress in the medical record to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to perform responsibilities with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other team members regarding progress, problems and plans.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state PT rules.
